MicroLink has identified a maturity model for the successful adoption of SharePoint. The model describes three maturity stages and the hurdles that need to be overcome. When this model is properly applied, an organization can significantly accelerate the pace at which it will realize the benefits and value from SharePoint.

I am currently a consultant for MicroLink, LLC and have been working for the past couple of years with SharePoint and other application platforms. Armed with my 25-year experience and an MBA, I work with large and small organizations to drive business value out of technology solutions. Although I have an IT background, including a stint as CIO for a large real estate firm, my current focus is mostly business-oriented. My most recent engagements have focused on knowledge and information management, metadata and content architecture, collaboration, and governance of application systems. On a personal level, I have an international and multicultural background and, for fun, I like to play music.
